With the gracious vendor support of our local businesses who were hired to make US LOOK GOOD … let us take our coconut hats off to: Pacific Party Canopies, David Michael, harpist, Mountain Sound acoustics, auctioneer sound support and ambient hawai’ian music, Azuza Gardens loaned potted hydrangea for help hiding guy-lines and avoiding tripping on them … Mahalo!
The board of directors of Padilla Bay Foundation, our Reserve staff, foundation members, friends & businesses in the community pulled together to make the August 11th event spectacular. We are happy to report several sponsors helped support our efforts. We want to wholeheartedly thank important sources of sponsorship support: Pacific Seafood, Rozema Boat Works, Skagit Bank, Samish Indian Nation, Sierra Pacific Foundation, Northwest Hardwoods, Drain Doctor, Foothills Toyota, Lautenbach Industries, PACCAR, Port of Skagit, Chemtrade Solutions, Mainstay Realty and Shell Puget Sound Refinery. Appreciation also to Tom Pasma & D.L. for their auctioneer services. We also had Penn Cove mussels & Taylor Shellfish clams via donation and several of our tantalizing buffet items were donated by Pacific Seafoods. A blend of delicious Pacific Northwest and Hawai’ian dishes were on offer that night, built by both Gere-A-Deli catering and a crack volunteer crew who truly put the Hawai’ian Flair in our event! We enjoyed the bar services of Rockfish Bar & Grill/Anacortes Brewery of Anacortes to cap it off.
