This watercolor painting was created for and given to Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve for their use. David Hagerbaumer was one of the most celebrated wildlife artists in America, best known for his captivating paintings of waterfowl and upland game. Among duck hunters he is legendary, having hunted waterfowl for three quarters of a century. He was one of few men to have hunted with live decoys.
