The Padilla Bay Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization. You become members, donate funds, sponsor events or campaigns and volunteer for all sorts of activities and events. In return, we can provide direct financial and other supplemental support to the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. We hold a Guidestar Candid Platinum Rating for 2022-23!

Over many years, the Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for facility upgrades, research and education assistants, and speakers at events, as examples.

We also receive and administer numerous grants that are available only to non-profit organizations. These grants support all sorts of education (such as climate change curriculum for public schools) and research (such as summer seasonal graduate school assistants) and facility upgrades (such as a modern audio-visual system in the main classroom).

With the continued help from a dedicated community of members, supporters, and board members we and the Reserve will continue to prosper for many more years.
