Early Indian Paintbrush along the walk at the Reserve!

The Spring-time is lovely at the Reserve. A nice time for an upland trail walk or down to the beach. Or just have a picnic on the lawn. It is surprising how many do!

It is also very busy with classes, student programs, research activities, and interpretive-center visitors. Volunteers to assist are always needed. Contact us if you can help. Plenty of assistance and coaching provided! A great way to help support the Reserve and the programs here.

That Wisteria!

May 7 and 8 are GIVEBIG WASHINGTON days. This year we ask for DONATIONS that help fund Padilla Bay Research Grants to Graduate Students working in the Bay.

Recent awards support research of using drones to map eel grass and how Olympia Oyster larvae are able to disperse once released by the “mother” oyster.

SAVE THE DATE! “2024 Brunch at the Bay”
